Exciting Opportunity: Front of House Assistant Restaurant Manager – Lead with Passion and Vision

The Early Bird, a well-loved coffee shop and bakery in the heart of Kings Heath, is seeking a dynamic FOH Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward.

We are a coffee shop and brunch destination on the high street in Kings Heath, and in the 6.5 years since we opened have built a reputation on the quality of our cakes and brunch and our customer service. Over the years we have grown organically and plan to continue this growth. We’re constantly evolving to ensure what we deliver is the best, and have fun along the way.

Your Role:

• Deliver exceptional service and inspire your team to do the same.
• Work with the Leadership Team and Manager to run the smooth operation of the business.
• Manage daily operations, including stock control, rotas, and compliance.
• Oversee the launch of our evening restaurant two nights a week (Thursdays & Fridays).
• Oversee events, both on-site and off-site throughout the year
• Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff.
• Step in at our sister site, Perch, in Birmingham city centre when needed.
