We’re looking to hire a part time commis chef to prep and cook the brunch and lunch offerings at The Early Bird in Kings Heath.
The hours we require you to work are up to 16 hours a week, across 2 days, either Friday, Saturday or Sunday day times. We will require you to work at least one weekend day, with shifts starting from around 7am. There will be an opportunity to increase these hours as the business expands.
You’ll be working for dynamic and supportive owners who encourage creativity and welcome new ideas on the menu all the time.

Essential Requirements
- At least 1 years’ experience in reputable, high volume kitchens
- Good time management
- Career minded with leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, delegate tasks and lead junior staff
- Good communication skills
- Compliance and paperwork required including health and safety/food hygiene
